The International Trade Centre has published an article on a project implemented jointly with the Azexport portal
The International Trade Centre (ITC), established by the United Nations, has published an article on its official website regarding a project implemented in cooperation with the Azexport.az portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The article highlights that within the framework of the “Ready to Trade” project, a joint training session titled “e-Logistics” was organized in partnership between Azexport.az and ITC. During the training, entrepreneurs were provided with up-to-date information on topics such as logistics operations, logistics infrastructure, procurement procedures, and the organization of logistics during the COVID-19 period. The article also emphasized that the cooperation has been highly productive.
The head of the Azexport.az portal, Ayxan Qadašov, stated that the publication of another article by the International Trade Centre—established by the United Nations (UN) and the World Trade Organization (WTO)—on a project jointly implemented with the Azexport portal demonstrates that the portal is recognized as a reliable regional partner by reputable international organizations. “I believe that achieving representation alongside prestigious international institutions in a short period of time with minimal resources can be considered one of the successes of the portal,” he noted.
It is also noted that the Azexport.az portal is among the most active partners in the implementation of the “Eastern Partnership” project in the region in cooperation with the International Trade Centre. Within the framework of the “Ready to Trade” project, two series of trainings were organized under the titles “e-Commerce” and “e-Logistics.” In total, more than 200 entrepreneurs participated in these trainings, and participants with over 70% attendance were awarded electronic certificates equipped with QR-code verification features. Considering the strong interest of entrepreneurs in online trainings and seminars, it is planned to regularly organize similar events covering various topics.
