The activities of Azerbaijan’s “One-Stop” Export Support Center have attracted the attention of international organizations and foreign companies. Over the past week, representatives from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for the Eurasia region — Patrik Pruzinski, Lisa Klinger, and Daniel Quadbek — along with Mehrzad Khoi, founder and CEO of Switzerland’s OrientSwiss, and Sardor Mukhammadaliyev, Director of the company’s Kazakhstan branch, visited the Center to discuss ongoing initiatives in digital trade.

Financial experts from the World Bank — Tural Jamalov, Natalia Manuilova, and Vladimir Krivenkov — as well as Andrée Simon, CEO of FINCA Microfinance Holding, and Timoti Tarrant, head of FINCA Azerbaijan, praised the Center as a major success in promoting exports after familiarizing themselves with its operations.

During the visit, Nicat Hacızadə, Manager of the One-Stop Export Support Center, provided detailed information about the services and functional capabilities offered by government agencies within the Center. He explained that exporting entrepreneurs can complete all export-related procedures from a single location in a shorter time and with fewer resources. The Center hosts representatives from the Ministry of Economy, the State Phytosanitary Control Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations.

The Center provides export permits and certificates for origin, quality, and phytosanitary compliance, as well as permissions for the export of endangered wild flora and fauna, veterinary certificates, cultural heritage protection, and religious books and media. Hacızadə noted that currently up to 15% of Azerbaijan’s exports are processed through the One-Stop Export Support Center.

Additionally, the Center offers entrepreneurs consulting and training in finance, banking, insurance, marketing, branding, and related areas. The One-Stop Export Support Center was established based on the Presidential Decree of February 23, 2017, and operates under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
