Azexport Signs Memorandum of Understanding with World Trade Centers Association (WTCA)

The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) hosted a meeting with the Indian delegation of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). During the meeting, Zaur Gardashov, Head of the Azexport portal, provided a detailed overview of recent projects implemented in Azerbaijan. He noted that long-standing bilateral relations between countries are continuously developing and strengthening. Z. Gardashov also highlighted Azerbaijan’s active involvement in regional initiatives such as TRASEKA and the North-South Transport Corridor, creating favorable conditions for multi-sector cooperation.

Somesh Batra, Vice President of WTCA’s India network, expressed a positive impression of Azerbaijan during his visit. The meeting also covered opportunities for exports from Azerbaijan through WTCA’s India network.

Following the discussions, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between WTCA and Azexport to strengthen collaboration and expand trade links.

Founded in 1968 in New York, the WTCA is a non-commercial, non-political organization established alongside the World Trade Center to promote international trade through the creation and effective operation of World Trade Centers (WTCs). Currently, WTCA operates in 90 countries, encompassing over 287 licensed WTCs and more than 850,000 corporate and individual members.
