
Azexport Talks: The Impact of Modern Technologies on Business Discussed
The next meeting of the “Azexport Talks” project—initiated by the “Azexport” portal and operated by the CAERC—was dedicated to examining the impact of modern digital technologies on business and economic sectors. The event featured Rashad Aliyev, Vice-Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University, as the guest speaker. Organized online, the meeting provided an in-depth discussion on how modern technologies influence business models, production processes, the labor market, and overall economic development. Rashad Aliyev addressed the effects of rapid technological advancements on traditional business practices and discussed the implications of automation and artificial intelligence for industrial sectors. He also emphasized the strategic importance of digital transformation projects across various fields in Azerbaijan and their significant contribution to economic growth.
The event was moderated by Gunel Imamguliyeva, a faculty member at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, recipient of the “Woman of the Year in ICT” award, and a recognized startup trainer. During the discussion, she elaborated on the innovations introduced by modern technologies in business and management, stressing the need to enhance digital skills and stay current with emerging technological trends. The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, during which participants engaged on topics related to the impact of modern technologies on the business environment.
