Another Innovation from the Azexport Portal
The Azexport.az portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has integrated with Google’s newly launched “Google Market Finder” service. The system analyzes products listed on www.azexport.az based on 100 different criteria and recommends the most suitable markets for each product. The analysis uses extensive, targeted market data collected from over 200 countries via Google’s platform, making it easier to develop global export plans.
It should be noted that Google Market Finder is built on a machine learning-based system. The service identifies the best markets for Azerbaijani products and provides all the information needed to plan future sales. It also helps answer questions such as: “How do potential customers use the internet?”, “What are their income levels?”, and “Which sales channels are most reliable?”
According to Azexport’s head, Zaur Gardashov, Market Finder uses Big Data to select and present the most suitable options in areas such as localization, international payments, and logistics. He emphasized that every successful exporter needs a global marketing plan: “What is the best way to promote your product in foreign markets? Which devices do your customers use, and what is the best way to reach them? Once these questions are answered, the system helps guide marketing decisions with data and customer insights and suggests the most effective tools.”
To fully benefit from the Google Market Finder service, products uploaded to azexport.az portal must include comprehensive and structured information, including in English.
