Memorandum of Understanding signed between "Azexport" portal and Japan's "Shinseikai" business platform
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the "Azexport" portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), and Japan's "Shinseikai" business platform, which has more than 5,000 members. The cooperation document aims to expand the access of Azerbaijani products to the Japanese market and establish direct "B2B" relations between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Ayhan Gadashov, Head of the "Azexport" portal, and Hitoshi Usukura, representative of the "Shinseikai" organization, participated in the signing ceremony.
According to the Memorandum, the parties will act jointly toward the development of sustainable trade relations between companies representing textile, agriculture, food industry, logistics, and other strategic sectors. Main focus will be directed toward the joint improvement of technical standards, certification requirements, and logistical operations encountered in the export process, as well as the promotion of products in the digital environment.
Ayhan Gadashov, Head of the "Azexport" portal, emphasized the importance of this cooperation in terms of expanding the geography of non-oil exports. He stated that the Japanese market is distinguished by its high quality standards and traditions. This Memorandum signed with the "Shinseikai" platform will serve as an important bridge for the integration of our local products into Japan's extensive trade networks. Innovative solutions such as the digital showroom of the "Azexport" portal will directly serve Japanese buyers in obtaining remote yet visual and comprehensive information about Azerbaijani products.
Hitoshi Usukura, representative of the "Shinseikai" organization, noted for his part that they would provide full support for the promotion of Azerbaijani products in Japan through the network he represents. He stated that the support mechanisms provided by "Azexport" to local entrepreneurs and the experience of integration with global e-commerce platforms have drawn the special interest of Japanese business circles.
According to the agreement, a series of online "B2B" meetings with the participation of entrepreneurs from both countries and educational events on export procedures are planned to be held in the near future within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum. Entrepreneurs wishing to participate in these meetings can apply to the "Azexport" portal.
It should be noted that no service fee or commission is intended for using the capabilities of the "Azexport" portal.
