Azexport Participates in the International Food Industry Exhibition
The Azexport.az portal is participating in the Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition WorldFood Azerbaijan 2018.
At the Azexport.az stand, visitors are provided with information on the non-oil sector, including agriculture and food products. The portal has become a convenient platform for selling these products in domestic and foreign markets. By integrating with the world’s most popular e-commerce networks, Azexport showcases Azerbaijani products globally. Through the regularly updated, user-friendly, and accessible Azexport.az platform, the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand is brought closer to buyers.
During the exhibition, visitors were given detailed information about the Single Online Export Application and the rules for using the Azexport.az portal.
Currently, the Azexport.az portal is considered a successful platform for exporters of Azerbaijan’s agricultural and food products. Notably, a significant share of export orders received from foreign partners through Azexport.az in the first quarter of 2018 accounted for this sector. Compared to the corresponding period of 2017, export orders for agricultural and food products doubled in the first quarter of 2018.
For information, the exhibition, held annually, brings together leading companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, Greece, Hungary, and other countries.
Within the framework of this year’s exhibition, representatives from sectors such as dairy products, confectionery, chocolate, refrigeration equipment suppliers, tea producers, and others are participating. For the first time, an “innovation showcase” has been organized at the exhibition, where participants presented new products that have not yet been introduced to the market.
