The Think Tanks of Azerbaijan and Pakistan Will Cooperate
Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) Vusal Gasimli and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to our country Bilal Haye held a meeting.
V.Gasimli provided broad information on economic reforms implemented in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, application of strategic management in Azerbaijan, and monitoring and evaluation activities carried out by the CAERC, as well as such projects of the Center as Azexport.az, EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com, Digital Trade Hub, Azranking.az, and One-Stop-Shop Export Support Center. He mentioned that as a result of implemented reforms, Azerbaijan maintains its highest position as one of the most reformist countries in the Doing Business report.
Ambassador of Pakistan Bilal Haye expressed satisfaction with the growing strategic cooperation between the two fraternal countries and stressed the importance of expanding economic ties, especially in the sphere of trade. He noted that further expansion of trade and investment cooperation between the two countries will make a positive contribution to their economic development. They also discussed the establishment of relations between the CAERC and the relevant think tanks of Pakistan to conduct joint research in this area.
