The Latest Issue of the “Azerbaijan Economic Reforms Review” Published
The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication has released the latest issue of the Azerbaijan Economic Reforms Review in three languages: Azerbaijani, English, and Russian. The issue highlights a brief summary of the Strategic Roadmap for the Development of the Specialized Tourism Industry. Special attention is given to reforms in the agricultural sector, including explanations of the State Program on the Development of Cotton Growing in Azerbaijan (2017–2022) and the State Program on the Development of Agricultural Cooperatives in Azerbaijan (2017–2022), addressing key questions of interest to entrepreneurs.
The review also provides a list of countries and territories with preferential tax rates and a simplified explanation of amendments to the Housing Code, helping readers better understand the essence of ongoing reforms.
Additionally, the review includes expert commentary on changes introduced in the Presidential Decree on Certain Issues of Mortgage Lending in Azerbaijan. Updates to the 2017 State Budget Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan are also covered in this issue.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Economic Reforms Review was created by CAERC to improve public access to information about economic reforms in Azerbaijan, provide comprehensive updates to international organizations, and track documents signed in support of these reforms. The bulletin is published online in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English, reaching hundreds of thousands of readers both domestically and abroad.
