A meeting of the “Green energy hub” Working Subgroup was held as part of the preparation for the “2027-2030 Social and Economic Development Strategy”
The third meeting of the “Green Energy Hub” Working Subgroup was held to prepare the “2027-2030 Social and Economic Development Strategy” of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was chaired by Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and attended by relevant agencies. During the meeting, the “Action Plan” developed for the “green energy hub” objective of the Strategy was discussed. In line with the national priority of “A Clean Environment and Green Growth Country,” 46 proposed actions in 7 identified directions and target indicators for the development of the energy sector were presented. The perspectives for the implementation of these actions and financing opportunities were also considered.
Ramil Huseyn, Deputy Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), and Gültac Ahmadzadeh-Tapdıqzade, an employee of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, participated in the meeting.
It was decided that the discussion of the “Action Plan,” the justification and expert review of financial requirements, would be completed as soon as possible, and the final version would be presented at the next meeting of the Working Subgroup in October.
