A conference on green development opportunities was held under the organization of CAERC
A republican conference on "Green development opportunities of liberated territories of Azerbaijan" was held within the framework of the "Green world solidarity year," jointly organized by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) and Baku Eurasian University.
At the conference, Ramil Huseyn, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, spoke on green economy, green energy, green development opportunities of territories freed from occupation, and other related topics.
Agil Asadov, head of the department at CAERC discussed investment in alternative energy sources in our country, the work done in this field in the territories freed from occupation, and emphasized that in the near future, Azerbaijan, known as an oil country, will emerge as an exporter of green energy to the world.
Other speakers at the conference shared their views on the formation of green attitudes and green thinking in society, as well as the possibilities of green development in the liberated territories. They highlighted the relevance of the topic and noted that the conference is an important step in forming a sense of responsibility in front of future generations.
The conference was attended by representatives and scientists from more than 10 state institutions and universities, totaling more than 60 speakers. They presented reports on topics such as "Assessment of the green factor of economic growth in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan," "Green finance: perspectives and limitations," and "Basic principles of green economy and green business in Azerbaijan."
