The "B-Ready" Project's "Business Location (Issuance of Construction Permits)" Indicator
The "B-Ready" project focuses on improving Azerbaijan's construction and operational permit processes through the full digitalization of services. The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture leads this initiative with the goal of enhancing the regulatory framework, increasing transparency, and streamlining the issuance of permits via the Electronic Construction Portal. Key reforms include the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM), the establishment of an electronic permit system, and the provision of online services for obtaining permits, approvals, and construction-related documentation. This approach aims to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance coordination among relevant institutions. Additionally, Azerbaijan's collaboration with international organizations and the implementation of monitoring systems further strengthens the regulatory framework and supports sustainable urban development.
