Gunay Rahimli
Chief advisor of the Monitoring and evaluation division
She was born on July 3, 1994, in the Aghstafa district of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Education
In 2011-2015, she completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of Baku State University, graduating with honors.
In 2015-2017, she completed a master’s degree in Mathematical and Economic Methods of Optimal Control at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of Baku State University, graduating with honors.
In 2018-2022, she pursued doctoral studies in Econometrics and Economic Statistics at the Economic Research Scientific Institute under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In 2025, she defended her dissertation entitled “Study of a General Equilibrium Model Based on a Social Accounting Matrix.”
Pedagogical Activity
In 2021, she taught at Baku State University, and in 2025, at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She is the author of more than 35 scientific works published in local and international journals, as well as conference proceedings.
Labor Activity
In 2017–2025, she worked as a research fellow at the Economic Research Scientific Institute under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, first in the Department of Social Development Issues and later in the Department of Macroeconomic Research.
Since December 2025, she has been working as a Chief Advisor in the Efficiency Assessment Sector of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
She speaks Azerbaijani and English.
