He was born on November 02, 1976 in Kalbajar, the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Education

In 1993-1997, Azerbaijan Technical University, "Engineering economy and management" specialty, bachelor;

In 1997-1999, Azerbaijan Technical University, "Economy and management of production and service areas (transport)" specialty, master's degree;

In 1999-2004, Azerbaijan Technical University, graduate student in "Economics and Management of the National Economy" specialty;

Since 2007, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics in the specialty "5312.01 - Field Economics";

Since 2011, docent in the specialty "Economics and management of the national economy";

Since 2022, he is a doctor of economics in the specialty "5312.01 - Field economics".

Pedagogical activity

2021-2022,  Azerbaijan University, associate professor;

He is the author or co-author of 162 scientific articles or theses, 5 monographs, 3 textbooks and 1 textbook, more than 100 scientific and journalistic articles published in "Khalq", "Respublika", "Iqtisadiyyat" newspapers.

Labor Activity

2005-2008 Scientific Research Institute of Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economic Development (now the Ministry of Economy), leading researcher;

2009-2018 Institute of Economics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, head of the Department of Development Problems of Service Areas;

2018-2021 Head of the Department of Propaganda, Information and Analytical Analysis, State Committee for Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

In 2020-2022, he was head of the Strategic Planning and Development Department at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. After the structural reforms in February 2023, he was appointed the Head of the Strategic planning division.

He knows Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Turkish languages.

He is married and has 3 children.
