Vusal Gasimli's article was published in a prestigious international scientific journal
An article by Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, has been published in the prestigious Slovenian scientific journal Teorija in praksa, which is indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Published by the University of Ljubljana, the article is titled "Strategic transition from hydrocarbons to green hydrogen: long-term pathways for Azerbaijan’s export diversification."
The article analyzes "Azerbaijan's National Strategic Vision Document on Hydrogen" presented within the framework of the COP29 conference and states that our country possesses the potential to produce green hydrogen through electrolysis by utilizing its significant wind and solar energy resources. The production of clean hydrogen creates strategic opportunities for diversifying the national economy, attracting foreign investment into clean energy technologies, and promoting innovation-driven long-term growth. Azerbaijan's geostrategic position enhances its potential as a key hub for a green energy corridor between the East and the West, strengthening its role in regional energy security.
The other co-authors of the article are Doctor of Economic Sciences Ramil Huseyn, PhD in Economics Latif Zeynalli, and PhD in Economics Arzu Suleymanov.
Highly reputable in Slovenia, the journal Teorija in praksa was established in 1964 by the University of Ljubljana, and its publication is supported by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency.
