Meetings of the Working Groups on the 2025 Results of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy Have Started

Meetings of the working groups have begun to discuss the monitoring and evaluation results of the implementation of the measures planned for 2025 in the “Social and Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026.” The first meeting was held among the members of the “Healthy Lifestyle” Working Group.

The chairperson of the “Healthy Lifestyle” Working Group, Deputy Minister of Health Nadir Zeynalov, stated that during the reporting period, the implementation of the measures outlined in the Strategy continued successfully by the responsible institutions.

Sevinj Jabbarova, an employee of CAERC, presented the monitoring and evaluation report on the implementation of the 2025 targets of the Strategy. She highlighted the results of the 23 measures approved within the 7 activity areas of the “Citizens' Healthy Lifestyle” goal, as well as the challenges and recommendations recorded. Following this, members of the Working Group made their remarks on the report.

Tarana Salifova, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, and Gultaj Ahmadzade-Tapdigzade, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department at CAERC, answered the questions raised by the Working Group members. Key steps for the next period were determined to further enhance the effectiveness of the implemented activities.

It should be noted that eight working groups were established to ensure the full, timely, and effective implementation of the measures outlined in the “Social and Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026” and to coordinate the activities of relevant state bodies. The “Healthy Lifestyle” Working Group consists of representatives from the Ministry of Health, CAERC, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children, the Food Safety Agency, the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance, and TABİB.
