Meeting of the subgroup on “Improving the efficiency of state services in cross-border trade” held

The next meeting of the Subgroup on “Improving the Efficiency of State Services in Cross-Border Trade” under the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held.

The meeting, organized online, was chaired by Natiq Shirinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee, who provided information on the subgroup’s areas of activity and emphasized that the successful implementation of the measures outlined in the 2024 Roadmap contributes to the advancement of the country in international rankings.

In accordance with the agenda, updates were provided on the implementation of the relevant items of the Roadmap. In particular, proposals put forward by the relevant subgroups of the Working Group on “Eliminating Obstacles to Entrepreneurial Activity and Improving the Business Environment,” established within the Economic Council, regarding the development and enhancement of business entities’ activities were discussed.

It was highlighted that the development of state-business dialogue, the creation of favorable conditions for foreign trade participants, and the prompt response to questions raised during meetings serve as a clear example of cooperation between government bodies and business entities.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Chairman Natiq Shirinov stressed the importance of ensuring the timely and high-quality implementation of measures to achieve the set objectives.
