The next meeting of the Coordination Group on the Global Innovation Index was held
The position of Azerbaijan, the achieved results, and future directions within the framework of the “Global Innovation Index 2025” report were discussed.
The next online meeting of the Coordination Group on the Global Innovation Index of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held.
In addition to the members of the Coordination Group, representatives of other relevant working groups of the Commission and state institutions also participated in the meeting.
The head of the Coordination Group, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev, provided information on Azerbaijan’s position, the achieved results, and future directions within the “Global Innovation Index 2025” report, as well as on the updated Matrix prepared based on the activity plans of the Commission’s working groups.
The Head of the Sector for Monitoring, Coordination, and Evaluation of Economic Reforms of the Department for Economic Policy and Industrial Issues of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Head of the Secretariat of the Commission, Vusal Shikhaliyev, emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination among state institutions and ensuring the effective organization of data exchange in order to provide relevant international organizations with accurate and timely information on the Global Innovation Index.
During the meeting, proposals prepared regarding the implementation of measures and coordination of activities aimed at improving Azerbaijan’s indicators in the “Global Innovation Index 2025” report were presented, and current issues were discussed.
