The Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation Organization Is Expanding Cooperation with Azerbaijan
The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication and the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation Organization (CAREC) had meeting on expanding cooperation. During the meeting, held as webinar, the participants discussed the cooperation opportunities in such spheres as digital transformation, green development, regional cooperation, sustainable development and other.
During the meeting, there were provided information about the improvement of the country's position in international rankings as a result of systemic economic reforms carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. The other side was also informed about the activities of the CAERC in preparation and implementation of reforms, realization of large-scale research and strategic development projects, as well as monitoring and evaluation. At the same time, the implementation of joint research and development projects with CAREC, joint events, capacity building and expansion of cooperation in other areas were among the topics of discussion.
Head of the Economic Analysis and Analytical Information Department of CAERC Rashad Huseynov, Head of Projects Department Vusale Jafarova, and Head of the Strategic Planning and Development Department Ayaz Museyibov participated at the meeting.
