The first meeting of the Sub-Working Group on "Macro-fiscal Sustainability" was held
The first meeting of the Sub-Working Group on “Macro-Fiscal Sustainability,” established under the Ministry of Finance for the preparation of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030,” has been held.
Professor Vusal Gasimli, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) delivered a speech at the meeting.
The meeting discussed the initial directions for the preparation of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2027–2030” and the subsequent steps to be taken. An agreement was reached on strengthening inter-agency cooperation and continuing activities in a coordinated manner.
The Sub-Working Group on “Macro-Fiscal Sustainability” was established to contribute to the preparation of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030,” in accordance with the Presidential Decree No. 611 dated May 30, 2025, “On the Preparation of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030 and the Second State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” and the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution No. 356s dated June 18, 2025, on ensuring the implementation of the Presidential Decree.
