The January issue of the Exports Review was presented
According to the January issue of "Export Review", total exports in January-December 2022 of Azerbaijan amounted to 38.1 billion US dollars, exports in the non-oil sector amounted to 3.05 billion US dollars. Exports in the non-oil sector increased by 12.4% compared to the twelve months of 2021.
During January-December 2022, the export of chemical industry products increased by 57.7%, the export of ferrous metals and their products by 17.5%, the export of aluminum and its products by 15.4%, and the export of tea by 35.6%.
The statistical value of the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products amounted to 912.4 million US dollars. Fruit and vegetable products exported during January-December 2022 accounted for 93% of the group of agricultural products. The value created by agro-industrial products, which occupy a significant place in the composition of non-oil and gas exports, increased by 35.4% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Urea (209.7 million US dollars) was the first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported during January-December 2022. In this list, gold (US$185.2 million) was ranked second, and cotton wool (US$173.5 million) was ranked third.
928.6 million US dollars to the Russian Federation, 713.1 million US dollars to Turkey, 228.4 million US dollars to Georgia, 198.5 million US dollars to the Swiss Confederation and 102.7 million US dollars to Kazakhstan during January-December 2022 worth of non-oil sector goods were exported.
Non-oil exports in December 2022 amounted to 303.5 million US dollars. During December 2022, exports of food products amounted to 105.6 million US dollars, and exports of non-food products equaled 197.9 million US dollars.
In December 2022, the Russian Federation (107.7 million US dollars) rose to the first place in the list of countries that exported the most goods from the non-oil sector. In this list, Turkey (US$55.4 million) was second and Switzerland (US$31.9 million) was third.

"Export Review" compiled a ranking of both non-state and state-owned exporting subjects in the non-oil sector in January-December 2022.
The list of state-owned companies participating in the non-oil sector for January-December 2022 is headed by the "Marketing and Economic Operations Department" of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then the following companies are represented in this list: "Socar Polymer" LLC, "Azeraluminium" LLC, "AzerGold" JSC, "Azerenergy" ATSC, "Azerpambig Agrarian Industrial Complex" LLC, "Azerbaijan Airlines" JSC, "ASK Tabuk" LLC , "Azeripak" LLC, "Sheki Sharab" LLC.
In January-December 2022, "Azerkosmos" exported services worth 26.6 million US dollars (satellite telecommunication services and optical satellite services) to 42 countries of the world. Azerkosmos income from service export made up 82 percent of its total income. In December 2022, "Azerkosmos" exported services worth 2.3 million US dollars to 36 countries of the world.
The top five satellite telecommunications and optical satellite services exports in January-December 2022 are the United Kingdom with 6.5 million US dollars, France with 6 million US dollars, Luxembourg with 4.3 million US dollars, 2.2 million US dollars UAE with USD 1.5 million and Pakistan with USD 1.5 million.
In December 2022, the volume of transactions carried out by foreign citizens using bank cards in our country amounted to 190.5 million manats. In January-December 2022, foreigners made 2.2 billion manat transactions using bank cards.
In January-December 2022, the Azexport.az portal received export orders worth 469.9 million US dollars. In December 2022, the value of export orders entered on the Azexport.az portal amounted to 45.4 million US dollars. Export orders made to the Azexport.az portal in December 2022 include butter, tobacco, fish roe, construction material, apples, tomatoes, cottonseed oil, cotton seed oil, onions, chicken eggs, etc. products prevailed. For information, let's note that from January 2017 to December 31, 2022 (within 72 months), the value of export orders received on the Azexport.az portal from 145 countries of the world amounted to 3.2 billion US dollars.
It was also stated in the "Export Review" that in January 2023, the value of non-oil exports carried out through the "One Stop Shop" Export Support Center was 9.8 million US dollars.
