he Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication Center (CAERC) is announcing vacancies for the following positions:

Job responsibilities:
- Analyzing socio-economic processes in the country, taking into account the financial and economic situation, and forecasting expected economic changes;
- Conducting macro- and microeconomic analysis and research to ensure sustainable economic development, preparing proposals for economic reforms based on analytical data, as well as medium- and long-term forecasts;
- Studying international best practices to enhance the country’s economic potential, develop the non-oil sector, create a favorable investment environment, and attract both domestic and foreign investors;
- Researching global economic trends, analyzing financial and economic relations domestically and internationally, conducting studies on economic relations with neighboring countries, assessing existing challenges, and preparing scientific-analytical and forecast-based proposals;
- Analyzing the outcomes of ongoing economic reforms and the development trends of mutual trust among the state, private sector, and society during the reform process;
- Continuously monitoring modern developments and trends across various sectors of the economy, as well as the results of new scientific research;
- Formulating new directions for research and their development, organizing the preparation of work programs, and defining the methods and tools for their implementation;
- Providing scientific leadership for research activities and managing working groups engaged in these studies;
- Responding to informational requests related to development and forecasting issues within the department.
Education and qualification requirements: higher education (preferably in economics and management, finance, econometrics; an academic degree is an advantage);
Work experience: 1–3 years of relevant professional experience;
Computer skills: advanced level proficiency in MS Office, Internet, etc.; knowledge of statistical, econometric, and mathematical software is preferred;
Language skills: advanced proficiency in Azerbaijani and English; knowledge of Russian and other foreign languages is an advantage;
Special skills: strong analytical and critical thinking abilities (macroeconomics, industry, innovative economy, etc.), broad worldview, organizational skills, teamwork capability, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and strong communication abilities.
