The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication announces a vacancy for the position of Lawyer

Vacancy: Lawyer
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation of economic legislation acts;
- Prepare and formalize the legal documents of the Center;
- Ensure compliance with legislation in the preparation of the Center’s legal documents;
- Conduct legal examination of documents and contracts;
- Prepare contracts and provide legal opinions on contracts;
- Resolve legal issues arising in the activities of departments within the framework of legislation;
- Ensure the submission of appeals against decisions of courts and other state bodies that contradict the interests of the Center;
- Provide legal opinions on all types of decisions, orders and instructions regulating the activities of the Center, as well as internal regulations, rules and instructions of the organization;
- Represent the Center in court and take appropriate measures to ensure the execution of decisions related to claims filed against the Center;
- Participate in the preparation of proposals aimed at strengthening contractual, financial and labor discipline;
- Prepare responses, in accordance with the established procedures and within the specified timeframe, to letters, applications and complaints concerning legal matters addressed to the Center;
- Take measures to ensure the protection of state and commercial secrets, as well as confidentiality;
- Systematize and maintain records of legal documentation at the Center.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
At least a Master’s degree in Law (an academic degree is desirable);
Work Experience Requirement:
At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
Computer Skills:
MS Office, Internet, etc. – advanced level;
Language Skills:
Azerbaijani and English – advanced level; knowledge of Russian and other foreign languages is desirable;
Special Skills:
Experience in drafting legislative acts, as well as expertise in corporate and contract law; broad outlook, organizational skills, ability to work in a team, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and strong communication skills.
