CAERC Representative Participates in National Evaluation Capacity Discussions in Istanbul
In Istanbul, Turkey, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) organized the 5th Global Development Program Conference on National Evaluation Capacity (NEC). Vüsalə Cəfərova, Strategic Analysis and Planning Manager at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), represented Azerbaijan at the event.
The conference focused on sharing experiences, lessons learned, and best practices in establishing national evaluation systems, as well as discussing challenges and opportunities for strengthening national evaluation capacity.
During her presentation to an audience of over 400 participants, Vüsalə Cəfərova highlighted the significance of Azerbaijan’s Strategic Roadmaps, approved by President İlham Əliyev. She emphasized that these roadmaps, covering multiple sectors, are instrumental in developing the non-oil sector, enhancing regional cooperation, and achieving the country’s strategic objectives.
The conference is set to continue regularly, as UNDP notes that developing National Evaluation Capacity is a continuous effort that should be maintained at the national level.
