Head of Division at CAERC participates in international training program in Vienna
Head of Division at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) Nijat Hajizada, participated in an international training program on “Macroeconomic Analysis of Climate Change” organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in cooperation with the Vienna Institute for International Studies and the IMF’s Institute for Capacity Development.
The program, held in Vienna, brought together representatives from finance and economy ministries, central banks, and reform agencies of Asian and European countries, as well as leading experts from international financial institutions. During the two-week program, lectures and practical sessions were conducted on the impact of global economic developments on climate change, financing of energy subsidies in resource-rich countries, and the effects of reducing carbon emissions on countries’ macroeconomic indicators.
Participation in this program is an important part of CAERC’s efforts to study advanced international practices and strengthen the analytical foundations of Azerbaijan’s economic policy.
