The panel featured speeches by representatives from several countries, including Deputy Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States, Merey Mukajan. The discussions focused on the contribution of the region’s centuries-old cultural and religious heritage to peace, multiculturalism, and the sustainable development of halal tourism.

This year’s forum, held under the theme “The Halal Industry as a Source of Sustainability in a Rapidly Changing World,” brought together officials from more than 30 countries, representatives of international organizations, experts, members of academia, and entrepreneurs.
Supported by the Ministry of Economy and organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), the event aims to foster new partnerships in investment and trade, facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences, and promote foreign investment in Azerbaijan and the wider region.
