The Head of the Department of CAERC participated in the conference on "International Transport-Logistics Corridor: Development Impulses from Zangilan"
Agil Asadov, Head of the Department at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, spoke at the international scientific-practical conference on "International Transport-Logistics Corridor: Development Impulses from Zangilan."
The international conference, initiated in Zangilan, was jointly organized by the Special Delegation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the ETN Institute of Economics. It covered Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, integral parts of the Eastern Zangezur economic region. Representatives from Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries, along with leaders from international organizations like the World Bank and International Transport Forum, participated in the conference, which continued in Baku.
During the panel discussions, A. Asadov, Head of the CAERC department, presented an article on "International Transport Corridors: Azerbaijan's Position in the Regional and Global Value Chain."
