CAERC Representative Participates in an International Transport Seminar Held in China

Arzu Suleymanov, Head of the Evaluation of efficiency sector within the Monitoring and Evaluation Division at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), participated in the international seminar titled "Construction, Planning, and Management of Public Transportation for Belt and Road Countries," held in the People's Republic of China.

Organized by the Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College with the support of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the event featured lectures on modern transport development history in China, highway design, road infrastructure and materials, construction safety, evaluation of transport projects, green transport planning, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Participants also undertook study tours to various state institutions, strategic enterprises, and transport infrastructure sites, including the Shandong High-Speed Group, the Jiaoji Railway Museum, and the Public Transport Museum.

During the final phase of the seminar, Arzu Suleymanov actively contributed to group-based country presentations prepared by the participants. The presentation highlighted the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for state programs successfully implemented by CAERC, as well as the "Transport Review" reports regularly published by the institution, bringing these practices to the attention of international partners.

It should be noted that alongside CAERC, representatives from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and the State Customs Committee also took part in this international program.
