A review has been published regarding the 10-year activity of CAERC

A special edition has been published on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

The review provides a detailed presentation of the Center's activities in monitoring and evaluation, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, communication, innovative projects, and international achievements.

Over the past 10 years, CAERC has conducted the monitoring and evaluation of more than 40 state programs, forming a "big database" and making significant contributions to the implementation of the data-driven management model. Reforms in result-based budgeting, medium-term expenditure frameworks, and program and project management have further strengthened the Center's strategic role in public administration.

Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s rise to the 25th position among 190 countries in the World Bank’s "Doing Business" report, ranking among the top reforming countries, stands as a major achievement in our recent economic history.

On a global scale, CAERC cooperates with prestigious organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the Asian Development Bank. It is represented in the think-tank platforms of the "Group of Twenty" (G20) and "Group of Seven" (G7) and actively participates in the development of think-tank networks in Asia and the Turkic world. Among the Center’s numerous international accolades, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) "Best Enterprise in Intellectual Property" award and the OECD’s recognition of Azerbaijan's economic reform management model as an exemplary innovative practice hold special significance. The Center's successes in monitoring and evaluation, along with its international awards, are also highlighted in the review.

The publication provides information on the models established in the "Econlab" laboratory, created within the framework of CAERC’s economic analysis and forecasting activities. Furthermore, publications indexed in "Web of Science" and "Scopus" databases over the 10-year period, along with 30 books and more than 800 reviews, demonstrate CAERC's productive activity as a think tank.

The review includes dedicated sections for the Center’s innovative projects: the "Azexport" and "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portals, the Digital Trade Hub, the "One-Stop Shop" Export Support Center, and the Center for Turkic World Studies.

Additionally, the publication extensively presents the projects implemented under CAERC's communication strategy, the work done to inform the public, and the steps taken toward digital transformation.
