CAERC Announces New Hire
Anar Gaziyev has been appointed as the Finance Manager at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) by the order of Executive Director Vusal Gasimli.
Anar Gaziyev studied Economic Regulation at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics from 1992 to 1997. He is a graduate of the accounting and advisory services training program by "Deloitte Türkiye" and earned a national diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) through a program conducted by "GRBS-Azerbaijan."
From 1998 to 2007, he served as an accountant and senior accountant on various projects (Sangachal terminal, Baku-Supsa oil pipeline, Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, Shah Deniz) at "AZFEN." Between 2007 and 2021, he held the positions of chief accountant and head of the finance department at "OTOKOÇ Azerbaijan" (KOÇ Holding) LLC. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the finance director at "GEMZA Group" LLC. In 2024, he operated in the field of internal audit, and from 2024 to 2025, he was the head of the Finance and Accounting Department at "Azeridmanservis" LLC, a subordinate entity of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
