An "Open Day" was held within the framework of the "Startup School 4: Five Continents - 500 Startups" global innovation program, implemented by the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC). The event was attended by members of the startup ecosystem and representatives from relevant departments of higher education institutions.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the scope, objectives, and advantages offered to startups by the "Startup School 4" global innovation program, as well as to listen to proposals from ecosystem players. Isa Gasimov, Head of the portal, emphasized that the "Demo Day" of the "Startup School 4" program is scheduled to be organized in conjunction with the "TEI Forum 2026" business and trade forum, which will take place on October 30 - 31 of this year at the Baku Congress Center (with the participation of more than 500 entrepreneurs and investors). Furthermore, the 50 most promising startups of the "Startup School 4" program will be provided with stands at the aforementioned Forum. This will enable startups to engage in productive communication with numerous investors and entrepreneurs over the course of two days.

During the meeting, Aydan Huseynzada, Project Manager of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, provided detailed information on the program's contributions to the development of the startup ecosystem, professional training-mentoring services involving leading ecosystems, the commercialization of innovative ideas, and prospects for accessing global markets. It was noted that startups from five continents are applying to the "Startup School 4" program, and the development of these startups is ensured together with partners from five continents.

Subsequently, the opinions and suggestions of ecosystem representatives were heard, and potential mechanisms and cooperation opportunities for strengthening collaboration between universities, startups, and business entities were discussed. Particular focus was placed on increasing direct contact opportunities for startups with the real sector, integrating the "Demo Day" stage into the practical business environment, and expanding investment relations.

It should be noted that the registration process for the "Startup School 4" program concludes on May 15. This date is considered the final opportunity for startups and innovative idea owners wishing to apply.
