Discussion on the 2026 Work Plan at the CAERC
A discussion was held regarding the 2026 Work Plan prepared by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) in connection with the implementation of the tasks arising from the "National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight Against Corruption for 2022-2026," approved by the Decree No. 3199 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated April 4, 2022.
Opening the event with a welcoming speech, the Deputy Executive Director of the Center, Ramil Huseyn, first provided information on the implementation of the measures outlined in the National Action Plan by CAERC in 2025 and noted that an annual report is being prepared in this regard. Following this, CAERC's Lawyer, Nigar Hafizgizi, informed the staff about the 2026 Work Plan related to the measures foreseen in the National Action Plan. She explained in detail each of the measures for which CAERC is responsible and emphasized that the work done in 2025 will continue into 2026. Nigar Hafizqizi also mentioned that an annual report on the assessment and prevention of corruption risks is being prepared by CAERC, and she provided the staff with detailed information on this report.
During the discussion, it was decided, taking into account the proposals of the staff, to present the 2026 Work Plan to the leadership.
