The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has been honored with a prestigious international award by the United Kingdom–based “Brands Review Magazine Ltd” within the framework of the “Brands Review Magazine Awards 2025” competition. The Center was recognized in the “Technology” category.

CAERC received the award for its project titled “Smart Monitoring and Evaluation System: An AI-Ready Data Governance Innovation – Azerbaijan 2025.”

This achievement marks international recognition of CAERC’s success in implementing artificial intelligence-based approaches and advanced data governance solutions in the field of public administration and decision-making processes.

The jury particularly highlighted the Center’s establishment of a flexible and AI-integrated data management system designed for monitoring and evaluating state programs. The system effectively combines real-time analytics, geographic information technologies (GIS), video monitoring, and results-based management mechanisms, providing a comprehensive foundation for data-driven governance.

It should be emphasized that this accomplishment is fully aligned with the objectives of the Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2028. The Strategy identifies the expansion of data-driven management and decision-making mechanisms, the creation of smart government tools, and the integration of AI technologies into state institutions as strategic priorities. CAERC’s systematic efforts in these areas represent a tangible contribution to Azerbaijan’s transition toward the era of artificial intelligence.

In this nomination, participation extended beyond CAERC to include national, regional, and international representatives from both the public and private sectors, as well as technology startups and leading governance institutions. The Center’s success therefore reaffirms its position as a leading actor in the global technological governance ecosystem.

This recognition also demonstrates that CAERC has successfully implemented a new-generation management model based on AI and digital technologies, contributing to the transformation of Azerbaijan’s digital governance and AI-driven public administration architecture into an internationally acknowledged model.

The Center’s smart, adaptive, and sustainable management framework is regarded not only as a local innovation but also as a globally applicable institutional and technological model, proving that Azerbaijan’s experience has become a benchmark in AI-enabled governance worldwide.
