EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com held an international webinar on business development and startups
At the initiative of the EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com portal, Fadzilah Ahmad Din, an international consultant on development and entrepreneurship from Malaysia, held a webinar on "Capacity Building in Startups."
Se said that the application of ecosystem approach in the field of entrepreneurship development can be applied both at the global level and at the level of individual regions.
It was noted that the startup sector in Azerbaijan is developing mainly due to state support. Unfortunately, the interest of local investors in such projects is still not high. The expert said that the application of ecosystem approach in the field of entrepreneurship development can be applied both globally and in individual regions. Also, under the new conditions, startup projects in Azerbaijan today are offered mainly on education (online courses), e-commerce and social networks. According to the expert, these are the most resource-intensive projects. No special funding is required for the implementation, and success depends primarily on the correct team selection.
It should be noted that the www.enterpriseazerbaijan.com portal was created by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication on the basis of President Ilham Aliyev's Order dated September 19, 2018 "On additional measures to support competitive domestic production in the non-oil sector."
The aim of the www.enterpriseazerbaijan.com portal is to provide information on improving the potential for attracting foreign direct investment to Azerbaijan, projects open to alternative financing and new investment opportunities for further increasing investment attractiveness, as well as to create favorable opportunities for financing local and foreign investors.
