"Demo Day" – 30 Finalist Projects Showcase at the Exhibition
The exhibition for the final stage of the "Green and Digital Silk Road" international acceleration program, part of the "Startup School 3" initiative led by the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, has officially opened.
Over 30 startups, all of which successfully completed the program’s full cycle, are featured in the exhibition. Among the finalists are teams from Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Turkey. The projects on display encompass key program priorities such as green energy and digital solutions, alongside a diverse range of innovations spanning healthcare, agriculture, artificial intelligence, tourism, chemical industry, education, and more. The participating teams have presented solutions in the form of advanced technological platforms, specialized devices, software, digital tools, and applications designed to address prevalent challenges within their respective sectors.
The projects are being evaluated by a distinguished panel of experts representing leading companies from Azerbaijan, the USA, Malta, and Turkey. Evaluation criteria include innovation, technological application, market potential, team capabilities, and commercialization prospects. Based on the results, the top 7 startups will advance to the next stage of the final, "Pitch Day," where they will present their projects to a wider audience.
The exhibition has also attracted key stakeholders from the broader innovation ecosystem, including representatives from various government agencies, academic institutions, the banking sector, private companies, as well as incubation and acceleration centers and venture capital funds. This has provided startups with valuable opportunities for partnerships, investment, and knowledge exchange.
The "Startup School 3" project and the "Green and Digital Silk Road" acceleration program play a crucial role in fostering innovation, enhancing regional collaboration, and supporting new initiatives in digital transformation.
