Azranking.az: The next meeting of the working group "Connection to water networks" was held
The next meeting of the Working Group "Connection to Water Networks" of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was held at the administrative building of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
Etibar Mammadov, the head of the working group and deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, "Azersu" OJSC, delivered an opening speech and briefed the attendees on the meeting agenda. He provided updates on the work completed during the previous period and outlined the tasks ahead. In his address, Vusal Shikhaliyev, the head of the Secretariat of the Commission, praised the working group's activities throughout the year, particularly highlighting achievements in improving the country's position in international rankings.
As per the agenda, a presentation was delivered on the tasks and upcoming activities in compliance with the "Connection of construction objects to water supply and waste water discharge systems" regulations. Discussions were held on taking necessary measures based on these regulations.
The preliminary draft of the Road Map for 2024 concerning the "Connection to public utilities - Water network" indicator of the "Business Ready" project of the World Bank Group was reviewed.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the actions to be taken to address issues raised in applications received from entrepreneurial entities.
Representatives from the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, officials from the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, and representatives from other relevant institutions, all of whom are members of the working group, attended the meeting.
