Azexport Begins Cooperation with New International E-Commerce Platforms
The Azexport.az portal has started collaborating with additional international e-commerce platforms to expand the export geography of “Made in Azerbaijan” products and support local producers in finding new potential buyers.
The portal is now integrated with platforms such as www.go4worldbusiness.com, targeting Gulf and Oceania countries; www.tradeindia.com and www.indiamart.com, covering the Indian market; and www.agrorubo.ru, which specializes in agricultural product sales in CIS countries.
Zaur Gardashov, Head of Azexport, noted that this integration provides access to new markets beyond traditional ones and significantly contributes to broadening the export directions of Azerbaijani products. He added that, in the first days of integration, inquiries came from India regarding fruits and vegetables and from Gulf countries regarding chicken meat and eggs. These platforms collectively reach approximately 1.5 billion users.
Previously, Azexport had already been cooperating with platforms like www.amazon.com, www.alibaba.com, www.all.biz, www.agroserver.ru, generating over USD 800 million in inquiries for Azerbaijani products to date.
The portal plans to further expand its list of partner platforms to increase international outreach.
