The “Azexport” portal held a meeting with agricultural entrepreneurs in Khachmaz
A meeting was held with agricultural entrepreneurs in the Khachmaz district, jointly organized by the “Azexport” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), the Agricultural Insurance Fund under the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA).
Discussions on the export of agricultural products and insurance mechanisms took place at the Khachmaz SME House. The main objective of the meeting was to expand export opportunities for entrepreneurs operating in the agricultural sector, explain the effective use of agricultural subsidy mechanisms, and inform farmers about ways to protect themselves against potential risks they may face during the production process.
Within the framework of the event, presentations were delivered by Ayxan Gadashov, Head of the “Azexport” portal, Ravan Samadli, Advisor to the Chairman of the Agricultural Insurance Fund, and Ali Ahmadov, representative of the Agricultural Insurance Fund. The presentations addressed existing opportunities for exporting agricultural products, access to foreign markets through the “Azexport” platform, and agricultural insurance mechanisms aimed at protecting farmers from risks.
The meeting was attended by representatives of companies operating in the field of agricultural machinery and irrigation systems, as well as agricultural entrepreneurs from the districts of Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, and Siyazan. At the end of the presentations, participants’ questions were answered and interactive discussions were held with agricultural entrepreneurs.
