“Azexport” Portal Receives an Export Order from the U.S. State of California

The “Azexport” portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication has received its first export order for 2026 from the U.S. state of California. The agreement was reached following an online presentation and discussions between Ayxan Gadashov, Head of the “Azexport” portal, and Alex Alshvang, Head of a California-based retail network.

According to Ayxan Gadashov, the orders mainly cover processed products manufactured in Azerbaijan, confectionery and sweets, as well as certain national culinary products. Currently, the necessary procedures are being carried out for the accepted orders, including international certification, labeling in compliance with U.S. requirements, as well as the organization of logistics and customs procedures. The purpose of these processes is to further strengthen the systematic and sustainable access of Azerbaijani products to the California market.

It should be noted that the “Azexport” portal operates to present local producers’ products to international buyers and to implement digital advertising and marketing campaigns through online platforms. Registration on the portal and the services provided are free of charge for producers.
