Azerbaijan Launches World’s First Online Unified Export Application
For the first time globally, Azerbaijan has introduced an online unified export application. The service is implemented by the Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication Center (CAERC) through the Digital Trade Hub and the Azexport portal, enabling entrepreneurs to submit a single online export application to facilitate the export of their products.
The system integrates all required export approvals, electronic customs declarations, and export incentives into a single electronic application, in line with President Ilham Aliyev’s decree on strengthening Azerbaijan’s position as a Digital Trade Hub and expanding foreign trade operations.
The new service allows users to enter minimal information once—for example, product name and export destination—while the system automatically generates all additional necessary details, including documents required by the importing country. With the applicant’s consent, the unified export application is then directed to the relevant government authorities to obtain the required approvals.
This system significantly reduces bureaucratic interactions, shortens document processing times, and simplifies the procedure for entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan’s regions. The unified application concept, offering end-to-end online processing of all export permits, is currently unprecedented globally.

Both the Digital Trade Hub and Azexport portal were established under President Ilham Aliyev’s decrees, with CAERC serving as the operator of both projects. These initiatives aim to strengthen Azerbaijan’s trade infrastructure, streamline export processes, and increase international competitiveness.
