The next meeting of the "Improvement of the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan" working group was held
"The next meeting of the members of the 'Improvement of the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan' working group was held in a hybrid format at the Institute of Law and Human Rights.
During the meeting, the draft of the Concept document prepared under Chapter 1 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan was discussed. The project was prepared by the Center for Legal Expertise and Legislative Initiatives, taking into account the opinions provided by interested parties (subjects applying or subject to the application of Chapter 1 of the Civil Code) and members of the working group.
Samir Mahmudov, the Head of the working group and Executive Director of the Center for Legal Expertise and Legislative Initiatives, first presented the project to the attending members of the working group. Subsequently, additional proposals related to the project were discussed, and members' questions were addressed.
Finally, it was decided to submit additional opinions and proposals from the members of the working group on the project in writing by 01.03.2024.
