Within the framework of the “2020 Export Support” project, a three-stage awareness training program was held, jointly organized by the “One Stop Shop” Export Support Center of CAERC and My Broker.

The trainings covered topics aimed at stimulating and facilitating the access of local production to foreign markets, including: “Rules for Completing the Export Electronic Customs Declaration,” “Steps for Implementing International Transportation in Export Operations,” and “The Process of Formalizing Export Customs Procedures.”

The manager of the “One Stop Shop” Export Support Center, Nicat Hajizade, emphasized that the main objective of implementing the “2020 Export Support” project is to communicate to exporters the reforms carried out in recent years related to the simplification and digitalization of import-export operations. He noted that the reforms implemented in import-export operations and procedures during 2018–2019 have had tangible positive effects on entrepreneurial activity. One of the key goals of the “One Stop Shop” Export Support Center is to ensure effective communication of these reforms among entrepreneurs. Within the framework of the trainings, entrepreneurs not only became familiar with the essence of the reforms, but also gained practical exposure to transport and logistics, international transportation, and customs clearance procedures.

At the end of the training titled “The Process of Formalizing Export Customs Operations,” conducted by experts of the My Broker customs representation, certificates were awarded to 50 entrepreneurs who actively participated in all three stages. The certificates were presented by the head of the “One Stop Shop” Export Support Center, Nicat Hajizade, the head of the My Broker customs representation, Ilgar Vahabov, and the trainer Cabir Kamranov.

It is planned that, within the project, the “One Stop Shop” Export Support Center of CAERC and the My Broker customs representation will organize several additional awareness trainings to inform entrepreneurs about export and import operations, with the aim of supporting the development of entrepreneurship and ensuring citizen satisfaction in Azerbaijan.
