Vusal Gasimli presents the book “The Middle Corridor” at AzMIU
Professor Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), delivered a keynote presentation at the scientific seminar titled “Azerbaijan’s Development Prospects and the Middle Corridor”, held in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzMIU). During the event, he presented his newly published book, “The Middle Corridor: Navigating Current Realities and Embracing Future Prospects.”
Addressing the audience comprising members of AzMIU’s academic staff and master’s students, Vusal Gasimli noted that the book “The Middle Corridor” is the result of a partnership between CAERC, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and the CAREC Institute (Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation). The volume was authored by 22 scholars from 10 countries — Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, China, the United Kingdom, Serbia, Pakistan, Austria, Spain, and Mexico. The book has been published in English by the prestigious European academic publisher, University Press Târgu Mureș.
The Executive Director of CAERC delivered an extensive presentation on Azerbaijan’s development trajectory and the strategic significance of the Middle Corridor, followed by a Q&A session with participants.
Professor Gulchohra Mammadova, Rector of AzMIU and Doctor of Architecture, expressed her gratitude to Vusal Gasimli for his insightful and substantive presentation.
