Next Training Session Held at CAERC on the Implementation of the Action Plan on Digital Development

The next training session for representatives of local executive authorities on organizing the monitoring and reporting of the implementation of the "Action Plan for 2026–2028 on Accelerating Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan" was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

Responsible officials from the Ganja, Naftalan, and Yevlakh City Executive Authorities, as well as the Agstafa, Dashkasan, Gadabay, Goranboy, Goygol, Gazakh, Samukh, Shamkir, Tovuz, and Agdash District Executive Authorities, participated in the training.

In her opening speech, Tarana Salifova, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, stated that the application of digital solutions enables a more prompt and efficient organization of the reporting process. T. Salifova emphasized that the goal of the training sessions is to enhance participants' practical knowledge regarding the mechanism for preparing and submitting reports via the "e-monitoring" portal on the fulfillment of obligations by local executive authorities under the Action Plan.

Baghis Ahmadov, Advisor to the Executive Director of CAERC, delivered a presentation on the measures designated for implementation by local executive authorities in the Action Plan, the preparation of Roadmaps for their execution, and the application of indicative planning. During the presentation, special emphasis was placed on the importance of coordination and planning in the implementation of these measures.

Ismat Mehraliyeva, Department Head at CAERC, visually explained to the training participants the stages of creating reports, entering data, approving, and submitting them on the e-monitoring portal, and provided detailed information on key aspects to consider during the application of the portal.

During the discussion section of the meeting, an exchange of views took place around topics of interest to the participants. Questions from the representatives of local executive authorities were answered by specialists from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and CAERC, and discussions were held on ensuring a unified approach in the reporting process.
