Vacancy: Monitoring and Evaluation Division, Senior Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Organization and implementation of work related to the determination and evaluation of appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring and evaluating economic-oriented state programs;

  2. Preparing analytical and methodological support for monitoring and evaluation;

  3. Selection of suitable tools for effective monitoring and evaluation and preparation of proposals for their application in evaluation accordingly;

  4. Ensuring the organization and execution of work related to evaluating the effectiveness of state programs;

  5. Preparing and submitting periodic reports related to monitoring and evaluation;

  6. Organizing the collection of data (including statistical information) for monitoring and evaluation (from direct and indirect sources), performing analytical work for the purpose of evaluating this data, and preparing practical recommendations;

  7. Identifying specific assistance areas for the improvement of the Center's monitoring and evaluation database;

  8. Participating in the planning and implementation of monitoring activities;

Education and qualification requirements: higher education (specialization in economics and management, finance, econometrics);

Experience requirement: minimum 2 years of work experience in the relevant field;

Computer skills requirements: MS Office, Internet, etc. - at a high level, ability to work with statistical, econometric, and applied mathematical software packages (desirable);

Language skills: Azerbaijani and English - at a high level, knowledge of Russian and other foreign languages is desirable;

Special skills: high level of analytical analysis and thinking ability (macroeconomics, industry, innovative economy, etc.), outlook, organizational competence, ability to work in a team, problem-solving and decision-making ability, communication skills.
