Vacancy: Lawyer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the preparation of economic legislation acts;
2. Prepare and formalize the Center’s legal documents;
3. Ensure compliance with legislation in the preparation of the Center’s legal documents;
4. Conduct legal reviews of documents and contracts;
5. Prepare contracts and provide legal opinions on contracts;
6. Resolve legal issues arising in the activities of departments within the framework of legislation;
7. Ensure the submission of appeals against decisions of courts and other state bodies that are contrary to the interests of the Center;
8. Provide legal opinions on all types of decisions, orders and instructions regulating the activities of the Center, as well as internal regulations, rules and guidelines;
9. Represent the Center in court and take relevant measures to ensure the implementation of decisions related to claims filed against the Center;
10. Participate in the preparation of proposals aimed at strengthening contractual, financial and labour discipline;
11. Prepare responses to letters, applications and complaints concerning legal matters received by the Center in accordance with the established procedure and within the specified timeframe;
12. Take measures to ensure the protection of state and commercial secrets, as well as confidentiality requirements;
13. Systematize the Center’s legal documentation and maintain relevant records.

Education and Qualification Requirements:
At least a master’s degree in Law (an academic degree is considered an advantage);

Work Experience Requirement:
At least 3 years of relevant work experience;

Computer Skills:
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Internet and other relevant tools;

Language Skills:
Azerbaijani and English – advanced level; knowledge of Russian and other foreign languages is considered an advantage;

Required Skills:
Experience in drafting legislative acts, as well as in corporate and contract law; broad outlook; organizational skills; ability to work in a team; problem-solving and decision-making skills; strong communication skills.
