The next meeting was organized within the "Green Talk" project of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. Mrs. Manuela Rozalia Gabor, professor of the Faculty of Economics and Law of the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Romania, gave a speech on "Green marketing" before the employees of the Center and members of the "Reform Volunteers" organization.

The professor talked about the work done in the direction of "green development" based on the experience of Europe and especially Romania and the research conducted in this field. The professor noted that multinational companies have been trying to create a "nature-friendly" image in the eyes of consumers by widely using ecological slogans and environmental themes in their marketing campaigns. However, if we pay attention to the production conditions of the products and the materials used, it turns out that the amount of carbon emissions and the volume of harmful waste are large. Later, the guest professor explained the concept of "green washing" and presented the results of the research conducted in Romania.

At the meeting, discussions were held on areas of circular economy, waste recycling, "green" packaging. Manuela Rozalia Gabor also talked about ecotourism, saying that the influx of tourists to some countries increases carbon emissions, and touched on the work done in Europe for the development of ecotourism. As a result of the discussions during the meeting, the parties agreed to deepen cooperation on the topic of "green economy" and conduct joint research. In the end, the volunteers' questions were answered.

It should be noted that the main goal of the "Green Talk" project is to support the formation of "green" thinking in the country within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World".
