Energy Security Policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan: Transition from Traditional Energy to “Green Energy”

The monograph titled *“Energy Security Policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan: Transition from Traditional Energy to ‘Green Energy’”* by Elman Nasirov — a Member of the Milli Majlis, Doctor of Political Sciences, and professor — has been published. The scientific editor of the monograph is Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Doctor of Economic Sciences, and professor. The monograph provides a comprehensive analysis of the essence, priorities, and the process of transitioning to “green energy” within Azerbaijan’s energy security policy. It also examines, from a scientific perspective, the country’s international energy cooperation, as well as the initiatives proposed and decisions adopted within the framework of COP29. The publication consists of three main sections: the formation and development stages of energy security policy, the structure and priorities of the energy sector, and the current state and future prospects of the transition to “green energy” in Azerbaijan.
