I sincerely welcome you to the “Turkic States InsurTech Summit 2025”!

Today, we are not only celebrating a new event but also marking the beginning of a new phase in the history of insurance and technology in the Turkic world. One of the main objectives of this summit is to define a joint roadmap toward establishing a unified, innovative, and sustainable InsurTech ecosystem in the region.

Furthermore, the key value of this summit lies in its unifying mission. Representatives from brotherly countries such as Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus coming together here today create an invaluable platform for knowledge exchange, collaborative initiatives, and a shared vision for innovation. I am confident that the collaborations forged during this summit will significantly contribute to cross-border integration of the insurance sector, accelerate digital transformation, and strengthen the financial stability of the region.

I believe that the shared cultural, historical, and economic roots of the Turkic states provide a solid foundation for building technological cooperation and innovation partnerships. The task ahead of us today is to transform this foundation into technological advantage. The digitalization of the insurance sector is not merely a technical upgrade; it represents a modern format of trust, transparency, and resilience.

As we all know, the InsurTech sector is at a critical stage of accelerating transformation in the insurance industry, both internally and externally. Understanding the core ideas, current trends, and driving factors behind the digital insurance revolution is more important than ever.

It is no coincidence that the global InsurTech market is estimated to reach 36 billion USD in 2025. According to forecasts, this figure is expected to rise rapidly, reaching approximately 610 billion USD by 2034. This dynamic once again confirms the enormous transformative potential of digital innovations in the insurance sector.

This summit holds a special significance for me personally. As the scientific editor of the “InsurTech” textbook, I am proud to present it for the first time in our country today. This textbook serves as the first fundamental academic resource on the InsurTech ecosystem in our country, bringing together the most valuable ideas and proposals of renowned experts in the field.

The effort, professional knowledge, and experience of all the authors involved in creating this textbook have enriched both its academic value and practical applicability. I hope this resource will not only equip readers with theoretical knowledge but also transform them into professionals capable of strategic thinking, open to innovation, and possessing practical skills in the insurance ecosystem—making it an unparalleled reference.
