A commemorative event dedicated to the anniversary of the passing of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC). At the ceremony, the memory of the great personality, who played an exceptional role in the history of Azerbaijani statehood, was honored with deep respect.

Ramil Huseyn, Deputy Executive Director of the Center, noted that the development path defined by the National Leader continues to shape the main directions of public governance today.

Agil Asadov, Head of Department at CAERC, emphasized that Heydar Aliyev’s statehood philosophy played a decisive role in strengthening the country’s independence and laid a solid foundation for the launch of economic diversification and institutional modernization processes. The historical significance of his leadership and the enduring relevance of his ideas were highlighted by the event participants.

Speakers highly appreciated Heydar Aliyev’s exemplary leadership in shaping the country’s political, social, and economic development strategy.

It was noted that the long-term development strategy defined by the National Leader is being successfully continued today by President Ilham Aliyev. The reforms and large-scale modernization programs implemented under the leadership of the Head of State represent the logical continuation of Heydar Aliyev’s development course and contribute to strengthening the country’s economic power.

The results achieved in the economic sphere under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership, particularly the application of a sustainable development model, digital transformation, and the expansion of innovative governance mechanisms are clear examples of the realization of the National Leader’s ideas at a new stage.
